Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh is a distinguished Senior Advocate practicing before the Supreme Court of India. With over three decades of rich experience as a lawyer and judge, he brings deep judicial insight, strategic acumen, and authoritative expertise to high-stakes constitutional, service, commercial, and criminal matters.

Born on 20 January 1963, he graduated with an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, and was enrolled as an Advocate in 1990. He built a strong practice in Constitutional, Service, Commercial, Criminal, Excise, Customs, and Labour laws. He served as Additional Standing Counsel for the Central Government (1998–2001), Panel Counsel for the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, and was designated Senior Advocate in September 2010. He also served as Additional Advocate General, Government of Bihar.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the Patna High Court in April 2012, he served as Acting Chief Justice of Patna High Court (February–March 2023). He was sworn in as Chief Justice of the High Court of Orissa on 7 February 2024 and held the office until his retirement on 19 January 2025.

Justice Singh now practices as Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. His unique combination of extensive advocacy experience and high judicial tenure enables him to deliver exceptional strategic guidance and effective representation in appellate and constitutional litigation.
